Grooming

Definition
The Grooming (also Grooming+Estimation, or Backlog Refinement meeting) is a meeting where the Product Owner presents User Stories (from the Product Backlog) to the (development) team. The goal of the meeting is to discuss, clarify, and estimate the User Stories.
The better user stories are known by team members upfront, the shorter a Grooming meeting can be. The product owner may invite the team to read some user stories as a preparation.
