The Daily (or Daily Standup) is a short, less than 15-minute meeting of the (development) team recurring every working day.

Each participant gives insight to the rest of the team, answering 3 questions:

  1. Yesterday - what did I do and accomplish yesterday
  2. Today - what do I plan to do today
  3. Impediments - what blocks me in getting my work done

The team should rally to solve impediments aggressively and speed up each others’ tasks. The meeting facilitator (e.g. ScrumMaster) may offer to get help if impediments need to be addressed externally.
