Tech Talk

Definition
A Tech Talk is a concise knowledge sharing session of the team held by team members. Tech Talks should be regular in nature and outside of (project) time calculations to motivate team members to, a) hold talks and, b) participate as listeners. They may consist of a 20 minute talk followed by a 10 minute discussion, with the presented material documented in the corporate knowledge base or Wiki.
It’s a good rule that participating in Tech Talks is on a voluntary basis.
In-house talks are a good training field for to-be speakers that can hold external talks at notable tech conferences.
